What makes an attraction, theme park, or entertainment destination truly remarkable?

Falcon’s Creative Group has explored this question through our pioneering achievements over the last 25 years, but the reality is, we continue to evolve as themed entertainment designers. Why? Because every project is different; every situation is a new one; every brand is represented in a unique way.

Take, for example, one attraction, which can consist of a million moving pieces, all needing to be developed in tandem. Every piece is crucial to that attraction’s success, from scripting to digital content to architecture to guest flow to ride mechanics to safety to art direction and many more. Each one must be considered and appreciated, and that is what we do, all the time, no matter what, via our onsite supervision services.

Ride & Show Choreography

To ensure that the final guest experience upholds the original design and intent, our supervisors direct and coordinate efforts with programmers that represent various disciplines, such as ride system, audio-visual, lighting, and special effects. We take this step very seriously because safety is our #1 priority. We’ve been involved in ride and show choreography for decades, which means we know exactly what steps need to be taken and what amount of work needs to be put into this effort. When we send our team members to the site, they are laser-focused on their task list and can help the larger team address any potential issues that arise.

Field Art Direction

Art direction is held in high esteem for good reason; it holds the responsibility of maintaining the intended "look" through execution. Falcon’s provides onsite art direction by conducting field observations of the construction in progress and immediately addressing deficiencies and incongruities. The professionals we work with often have decades of onsite experience under their utility belts, and they have knowledge that can only come from being there and doing that. Before our field art directors arrive onsite, they’ve already reviewed the detailed plans that were passed along by our creative directors, IP managers, and art directors, so they have a clear direction. If changes arise, they're equipped with the knowledge and understanding of the project and IP to pivot accordingly.

Installation Supervision

We conduct frequent walkthroughs with installation vendors to ensure they are conforming to the construction documents. During a final walkthrough, Falcon’s prepares a list for each vendor that details items that have not been completed to our satisfaction. Falcon's continues overseeing all progress until we receive notification from vendors that the issues have been successfully addressed. Our team will then verify that the project is complete before scheduling a final formal creative inspection.
