IP Development

When Falcon’s works with intellectual property owners, we start at the 10,000-foot level. What is this IP all about? What are its top messages? What demographics are paying the closest attention to the IP? Then we move in for a closer inspection. How do you want this IP to be represented in a themed environment? What story do you want to tell? Where is it happening, how does it happen, and who is involved? IP development isn’t complicated, but without clear answers to these questions, complications will arise. We help you arrive at the best solutions by guiding you through this discovery process and then providing a roadmap to the heart of your project.

Brand Development

As experiential designers who have been at this game for a long time, we know how important it is to establish loyalty and trust among your consumers because that’s what keeps them coming back for more. Today’s audiences are very savvy, though, and can spot insincerity from miles away. That’s why we take the job of brand development very seriously. We are laser-focused on learning your brand, how you represent yourself in the world (and want to going forward), and who your customers are now and who else you want to reach. We have exercised our strategic branding muscles countless times for a wide variety of clientele, but we never take the process for granted. Everything we learn is poured into the project’s foundation. The end result is an inspiring guest experience that seamlessly connects customers to your unique identity and compels them to learn more, engage more, and yes, buy more.

Story Development

We are experts at world-building, and a large component of that is story development. For decades, our storytellers have helped IP owners craft fun, memorable guest experiences in a variety of themed settings. The basic tenets of story development don’t change if an intellectual property (IP) is at the center. The questions we ask, like, how do you want the guest to feel, or what do you want the guest to take away, are still relevant when working with an IP. They could be even more relevant because the end goal when immersing guests in your IP is to get them to engage more with it or buy products. There’s a strategic reason for forcing guests to exit through the gift shop. During the story development phase, we consider things like the role guests will have, the primary language (whether spoken or visual), demographics of guests, and the actual geographic location on Earth because culture matters. We can summarize all of this by saying we do our research, and it starts with a comprehensive understanding of your IP and the goals you have for guests’ interactions with it.

Character Design

Falcon’s harnesses the power of vibrant artistry, storyboards, and 3D visualization to bring memorable characters to life. We excel in world-building, the art of devising entire realms of fiction and fantasy that feature their own rules and internal consistencies. A crucial element of world-building is designing and developing characters. Character design allows our team to deepen our understanding of the environments we are creating. They help motivate narrative challenges or conflicts that are vital to an entertaining guest experience. Their style, personality, and mannerisms are irrefutably linked with the tone, feel, and themes of the greater world. Compelling characters are more than players in a plot, they are ambassadors of the story. As such, they require the deft touch of experienced, thoughtful designers.
